Sometimes You Just Don't Know

You knew those were aphids. Aren't they big. The biggest I've ever seen. Haven't had time to retreat them but I'll see how they look tomorrow. Today was time to get so greens and wreath to deck the halls. I read about aphids being attracted to the brassica family in cool temperatures. Then I googled insects on broccoli and it looked just like mine. I would never pick them off and applying a stream of water will only wash them into the soil. I've never had aphids on the vegetables. First time for everything I guess.
