Bypassing Spring

Yes, that's correct. For those who wanted spring, It's feeling like summer. Too soon.

She was ready for her photo shoot and then...

I think this is the best position. Just the way I like it.

Tulips and daffodils are still living but will soon be gone. Went out after dark to water them. They looked a little thirsty to me. Although it's going to rain for the next 2 days and they'll get plenty of water.

Her spot for the summer. Hopefully she'll make some pups and by the time the mother plant dies I'll have some new babies.

Foxglove and Cyprus vine seedlings hardened off. No worry about transitioning. I wanted the foxgloves in the ground today so they could enjoy the best watering from rain tomorrow. Maybe I'll put them out tomorrow in the rain.

Fire wood has disappeared. Soon in it's place, a chair when I get it out the basement and put it together again.

I'll miss them and will plant more in the fall. They were beautiful. A few didn't seem to come up. I wonder if they'll return if I plant them in the ground? I'll let the top die then dig them up and put them in the basement until fall.

$4.00's today at the produce market. Get them before it gets too hot for them.

Am I abusing the pansies already. They were so lovely when the first came. I planted all except these. I watered them and they'll perk up and will be planted another day.

The primrose are still alive. Almost bit the dust. Too much water. I poured it off today. Will make sure to lift them up and see if they're light  and need watering next time.

Food for the squirrels. I put them on the step today with a little added cayenne pepper. The heads may be off tomorrow.

Think I'll remove that grass this year and...

Cut out the center first and see if it'll fill in before I remove it. That will depend on how bad it looks.

So it's spring and time to start those undone home repairs from last summer I didn't get to. I did finally get my stucco repaired. Now to get the trim on the house painted. Maybe finish tiling my kitchen floor and get a new stove. Patch the 2 holes in the cement on the white part of the steps before I paint it. Get the heater cleaned. Declutter and gets bags ready for the Goodwill, and rest this summer and hopefully feel better than I was last summer. Maybe even take a vacation. That's being debated. Cannas, dahlia, lilies, and elephant ear need to be started. Tomorrow will be a good day to do that since it's supposed to rain.
