Makes Me Think

This morning makes me think of Autumn. It's beautiful and cool. The sky is blue and it's a sunny day with a slight breeze. Norway maples outside my window are rustling in the wind and dappled in light from the sun. August arrived yesterday with rain showers which my garden welcomed. I haven't watered in a few days and the dry crunchy leaves was evidence. Today makes me think of a warm fire, mums, pansies, pumpkins, crunching leaves under foot, and sweet potato pie. I did think of buying sweet potatoes when I was at the market but didn't. Maybe I'll go back for some when I get some errands done. I'll make a warm cup of coffee and not have to worry about sweating. Have a beautiful day where ever you are.
