June Blooms

It's almost summer and things are in bloom. Nicotiana and bee balm.

Yarrow

The tiny native hydrangea planted in the fall survived to bloom. Waiting for the blooms to turn white and get larger. One is planted in the flower bed but for some reason it did not bloom. I thought it would bloom planted in the ground instead of a container. We had a very mild winter with little measurable snow so don't know what happened.

Squeezed in a different kind of Stachy today.

Honeysuckle has blooms this season. Last spring frost killed the blooms.

Second year for the holly hock and it's multiplied.

Baptisia with seed pods. It was beautiful this spring in bloom. I didn't take pictures of it in bloom. A few blue pieces are still there.

Orange calibrachoa and purple salvia had to grow on me. I love the color now although most of the salvia blooms were deadheaded and will soon form more blooms.

Finished sweeping the sidewalk, pulling a few weeds, and watering the plants. We had much needed rain earlier this week and hopefully have more before the week is over. I had to water every day before the rain. Everything was so dry. I hope you are having a beautiful spring.
