Tomatoes Planted

Tulips today.

Tomato seedlings planted. One patio tomato actually has blooms. The tree canopy won't allow me to grow much in my yard but I can harvest a few tomatoes during the summer and my lettuce is getting fuller every time I check on it. May be able to have a salad in May.

Sowed these flower seeds a few weeks ago to see if any will make it in dappled shade.

Patio tomato with blooms. Forgot I have 4-5 more tomatoes but they are supposed to stay supper small and are recommended for growing on a window seal. I'll keep them under my plant light and see if they'll make it over winter. It would be nice to have my own grown fresh tomatoes over the winter.

Tomato seedlings before planting. They did well this season. Won't have to buy any.

Lettuce seeds I sprinkled a few weeks ago are also doing well. Can't wait to eat some.
Would love to take the frost cloth off but the squirrels would tear up everything. No bird food until fall and I hope they stay out the yard.

It'll be sad when the tulips go.

Tulips

The tulips started out real short but now are much taller. I'll take some recent pictures tomorrow. These pictures are from about a week ago. Scattered seeds have also emerged amongst them, but don't know how they will do with all this foliage which has to turn brown before they can get more sun. We shall see how the seedlings turn out.

One strawberry survived.

Veronica returning

Don't know why the leaves of allium always has to look like this although the flower is beautiful.

Salvia

Thought the iris was dead. Hope the geum in this container survived. I can see a little green on it.

Two hydrangeas on the sidewalk starting to leaf out.

They have a spicey scent. I ordered more for next season.

They'll be done soon. We had 3 days of frost temperatures which probably helped them survive longer. Although Philly is starting to heat up again and a 90 degree day is supposedly expected next week. At least the nights are getting warmer and I hope to plant my tomatoes outdoors in the yard tomorrow. No hardening off done. I think they'll be okay.

I have some of my own coleus seedlings that are doing beautiful but couldn't pass these up at the produce market for a good price.

It is Finished

All praises to the King for His ultimate sacrifice for our sins. He didn't stay in the ground, he rose, set the captives free in Paradise, and walked the earth being seen by many. Ate the Passover meal and had Holy Communion. He then ascended and sits at the right hand of the father making intercession for us. He shall come again. Are you ready? If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, you are saved. Welcome to the Kingdom.

April

Tomatoes transplanted well.

The yellow tulips below smell wonderful and lemony.

This is also aromatic.
