The Weekend

Have to do better in the spring and remove the wire before this happens. I'll come out another day and remove it and some in the other flower bed.

For the table. Resurrection Sunday dinner tomorrow. A lot of flowers today at the market but nothing really special. The roses are already opening. I found the coolest spot I could to put them in. Can't stay indoors with the oven on warming up the house from starting to prepare dinner for tomorrow.

They smell wonderful.

Will be burning that wood on Monday while it snows, again. 

My sister left her bunny decorations in the car. She said to put them in the containers. Although I have bunnies on my mantel, they're in memory of my mother who gave them to me years ago. Easter, which we call Resurrection Sunday is a holy and special event in Christianity. I'm honored to say the Christ is my savior. Without him there would be no me. I can rest assured that when I take my final breath I'll spend eternity with him. One of my favorite scriptures in the Bible is when he told the thief on the cross, "Today You Shall Be With Me in Paradise." Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Just a place for the oxalis from last spring to rest while I wait for it to bloom. If the cold didn't kill the bulbs.

I need to plant that broccoli soon.
