Handling the Cold

No flower stalks yet.

Today before the wind beat most of the leaves off the tulips today. What should I plant next. It's still cold in Philly. Not time for petunias and other annuals.

A few tulips have survived for the 3rd spring. Maybe I'll put some of the tulips I pull in the window box.

Hydrangea survived and is budding out. This is a smaller limelight hydrangea. Organic fertilizer applied a few weeks ago.

Allium I think.

Maybe the foxgloves will surprise me with multiple flower stalks this spring.

More narcissuses will be added in the fall.

These must be late blooming tulips. No flower stalks yet.

These tulips are almost done.

Pansy seedling shame. There's always time to plant more in June for fall.

My stock seedlings are ready to plant outdoors.
