Happy Thanksgiving

While my brother carved the turkey which was golden, moist, and delicious. I finished my arrangement for the table. Kind of rushed but it came out okay.  At least all the food is prepared and ready. As soon as my sister arrives we can have prayer and eat. We're waiting for her to arrive as usual.

Made cornbread from scratch for my stuffing on Tuesday night although it wasn't completed until this morning. The top could be browner but that's okay. Most of it was eaten. Early prep makes such a difference. God willing, next Thanksgiving I'll start even earlier and feel even less rushed.

Except for a small serving for tomorrows dinner, all the cranberry sauce was eaten. There's nothing like homemade cranberry sauce. I'm thankful for family all who I shared this day with, those having dinners at their homes, and especially those who have passed. I pray you had a wonderful day.
