In the House

I didn’t post in February but I was doing what I usually do indoors during the winter. Starting seeds, killing seedlings and house plants. The Philadelphia Flower show was beautiful as usual and it was wonderful to spend time among all the plants, flowers, and people who equally enjoy this once a year event.

Two weeks since expanding these pods. Have to get some more seeds started.

The plastic will be removed another day to show you my few petunias, impatiens and community posts of snapdragons and foxgloves. Won't do the community pots again. Too many seedings. Who wants to separate hundreds of seedlings? Not me.

Impatiens. I didn't plant a lot.

Didn't think I took a picture of the snapdragons. There they are.

Foxgloves. When I moved them to groups in pots they didn't do well. Hopefully I end up with some.

Some clear glass bulb forcing container I actually found at the thrift store. So disappointed when I left my containers on the porch and they froze and burst. Poor hyacinth forcing for me last season.

My amaryllis have been beautiful this winter. I still have one to plant.

Primrose didn't like the house. They're on the porch now trying to survive.

Kalanchoe

I missed a watering and it looked dead today. Why do I keep trying with maiden hair ferns?

Pelargoniums from the flower show. I also bought a beautiful orchid.

Loveliness for the bathroom.

Foxgloves after transplanting a sorry excuse. Don't judge me.

Away until the Fall.

She loves the bathroom but the hoyas in the window behind the curtain don't.

Can't keep those Chinese evergreens alive.

Stock seedlings and one un identifiable seedling. This is an old picture, they look a little better now.

A few coleus survived. They're larger now.

I have to start more cosmos. Only 1 seedling survived.

In the kitchen.

Anemone are so beautiful.

Fresh flowers for the house.

So upset after I paid lots of money for these.

This was the only one that looked good.

The orchid fell on the floor and the other blooms came off. I floated them in water until they died. I did get it to rebloom 1 year later.
