My Seedlings

Nicotiana seedling. This is my 3rd year growing them. In my opinion the easiest of seedlings. Can't imagine what they'll look like by the last Spring frost when they can go outside. Many seedlings are in this post. My sister will be happy to have some.

Foxgloves are surviving in their community pots. They looked so bad after transplanting I didn't think any would survive. What a luxury to be able to have some many seedlings and bloom. But they're biannual and won't get to see them bloom until next spring. Maybe I planted some that bloom the first year also. I'll have to look back at what I planted. Can't wait to see.

Nicotiana under lights. There are about 9 containers. My tiny wild flower bed in the front of the house should be full this year. I'm hopeful. Can't wait for the zinnias. I had one cosmos seedling. Today it was dead. So sad, I don't know what happened. If I start more this week maybe I can have some. They are so beautiful.

You know they should be separated. Don't feel like separating them. Petunias and petchoa which are petunias mixed with calibrachoa. I had ten seedlings each and all seem to have germinated. Petunias are also an easy seed to germinate in my opinion.

No I haven't separated the snapdragons yet. I told my sister we will have plenty. Her seedlings died.
I'm going to work on getting these into 4 inch pots this week, I hope. No I can't individually separate them. I might have a break down trying to do that, lol.

Should be 20 impatiens, yeah. I'm excited. Impatiens were in the garden center today and our last frost or when they recommend we plant warm season annuals out is after Mother's Day.

Didn't have a lot of coleus to germinate this season but some was old seed. I bought fresh seed but didn't plant it.

Coleus Splun Glass Burpee seed. Gave a few seedlings survived. It's still getting it's variegation.

One lone verbena. Hope to plant some more if it's not too late. The dead seedlings were cosmos.

More nicotiana on the bedroom window seal. Plan abuse. They're still in their seed pods. I'll get around to it.

Stock is also on the window seal. I think I'm going to harden this off and plant as it like cool temperatures although last year the stock seedlings I planted lived through the heat. I won't be pulling them this year.

Another coleus seedling.

That's Spun Glass coleus again.

The tray.

I'm behind on seed starting. Still want to start tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, herbs, asters, nasturtium, more verbena and cosmos. And a few others that I can't remember.

Amaryllis seem to take a back seat when spring arrives with all its blooms.

Although they shine anytime. I still have one more to start. Soaked and planted ranunculus in a pot today. My first time trying. Hope your seedlings are doing well. Don't start seeds? It's fun to watch something so small grown into plants, shrubs, trees, food.
