Spring

Dead since the Fall. Was nice for winter interest though. Now what to plant? It was the result of a very hot summer and not enough rain or additional watering by me. It's finally spring and I got to do a little planting.

Waiting for my hydrangea to wake up. It seems late. Hopefully it's not dead.

Pansies, arborvitae from last season, tulips, and rosemary.

It needs some other flowers. Maybe narcissus, something taller.

Hellebore
Just beautiful.

Was supposed to start more seeds. That hasn't happened yet.

Bought a foxglove today. I had the last one for 2 seasons but the seeds sprinkled from the old one didn't germinate. I have many under my seed light if they survive I'll plant them for blooms next spring.

The flower bed.

All my arborvitae did well over the winter.

Primrose

The tulips are starting to come up and I think those are allium. I don't seem my anemone that bloomed last spring. I also planted another variety.

Window boxes will be a future project.

Potted tulips coming up and some strawberry plants that will sit until I can plant them in another container.

One of 2 containers of tulips for my daughter's house.

Bought the bird of paradise today. Though of leaving it on the sun porch but that's not a good idea. Our days have been warm but winter temperatures return at night. Oxalis in the window was also bought today.

Another container for my daughter.
A beautiful day.

Narcissus are coming up.

Narcissus planted in this spot still to emerge.

Waiting for another hydrangea to emerge.

Tulips have emerged in the container. Pansies, alyssum, and variegated ivy. I bought this alyssum but later I'll sprinkle some seeds in my flower bed. That did well for me last season and stayed until frost.
